“Tomorrow Is The Question“ evolved from Andreas Kaling’s first solo bass saxophone recording, “As If There Was A Tomorrow“. On this new recording Andreas Kaling is again in an improvisational mode. He plays masterfully with polyrhythms and key noises. He demonstrates impressive circular breathing techniques combined with broad-spectrum overtones. And he mixes it all with a conventional bass-saxophone sound. New to this recording is Kaling’s inclusion of text, such as passages from Ernst Jandl’s “Fünfter Stein“. Solo bass saxophone! Wonderful!
