Franz Bauer is fascinated by the possibility to modulate vibraphone and marimba sounds in live situations. In his recent solo program "Bouché" he substantially adds improvisation and furthermore unusual percussion and drum sounds. Franz Bauer uses varied elements of classical music, jazz, rock and Neue Musik. Being a modern improviser he creates a highly enjoyable musical interaction of the musical styles that are perceived by different people in many different ways. "Bouché" is Franz Bauer`s second release on JazzHausMusik after "Plüschtier" (JHM 97/featuring Jim Black on drums).
