"Rare Melodies" is a once more highly original collection of compositions of trombone player Christof Thewes from Saarbrücken. The recent production of his Undertone project is characterised, as have been the productions before, by the use of most different musical genres. Thus jazz and pop structures melt together with elements of Neue Musik in fascinating improvisations. The result is an exciting, extremely interactive structured improvisation music.
