The concept of the ensemble "Das letzte Känguru" (The last kangaroo) leaves the traditional sphere of the saxophone trio in order to fathom out the artistic depths of this special cast. This band is a very good example for self-confident European improvisation influenced by a lot of parameters from everywhere, yet still conscious of the power to follow the own musical path straight up to its end. The trio convinces by varied and inspired playing; by its musical wit, open-mindedness and by laying itself open to the moment.
